The vid converter can be very fast, but the controls/options are minimal - maybe check out A's converter which is more or less a front end for the same software. Hydrovision is ATI's virtual desktop app. Far as which is best, mileage varies as always, with some sticking with the 11.x or 12.1 versions, some preferring 12.4 over 12.6 etc.
The 12.4 drivers were April's release - At the end of May they released the 12.6 Beta, along with the win8 prev driver.

Read the comment by pavid yesterday who gives a very erudite explanation of what the problem appears to be. If this game was infected we would be getting many complaints from the community, which hasn't happened. If the sound files are showing as bad then it's more than likely the download has become corrupted during the download phase. There has never been a giveaway given away that has been infected ever since the game project started back in Dec 2006. As I've said many times the games given away here are tested with several different malare programs. This game has been downloaded by tens of thousands of users over the past few years and no one has complained of any infected files.
Please double check the security of this program. Norton identified the set up file as infected and removed. Failed to run, showing all sound files bad.
